Outsider Art Sculpture 2 Men Bathtub Gay Interest 1974

For sale is a neat unknown artist outsider art stye pottery sculpture of two men in a bathtub. One is smoking cigar and has a leaf to cover his modesty. Dated on the bottom in a marker 1974. Does look like it dates from this period if not earlier but the date could have been added later. This folk art piece has a nice glaze. In some areas its thinner and looks light brown. Lots of nice details. Well made object.

I found this in New Hampshire in an antiques mall but I don’t know any history on it.

I guess potential gay men as both are sharing a tub but its not graphic in any way.

Over 9 and half inches long. About 6 inches wide. Over 2 and 3/4 inches tall. See soda can for scale.

Condition: Nice condition. No breaks. No repairs. No chips. No cracks. All original.
