Outsider Art American Flag 1960s Child’s Art

It was love at first sight for me and this American Flag. Who needs Jasper Johns with this bad boy?

Its constructed out of cardboard and thick paper. Looks to be 1950s or 1960s. Likely a child’s school art project. It was cherished enough to be saved and later professionally framed. I appreciate that the artist had a misstep with the number of stars and had to hastily add another row on the left edge. Super charming.

Frame is roughly 15 inches wide by just over 19 inches tall. Frame has some wear but overall this piece is ready to be displayed.
