For sale is a neat folk art painting by Earl Hastings Beymer (1890-1975). Self taught outsider / folk artist. He painted a lot on found materials including wood but this is painted on an artist board. Framed with a homemade hook on the back. Signed on the back. Dated 1970

Earl lived in Old Washington Ohio. A large collection of his paintings was discover in an out building on his family farm recently. They were exhibited in a local museum.

This is a charming painting. On the back its marked University Hall OSU. Painted with crumpacker oils. Copy of Robert Childress Watercolor. He painted it for Bruce Beymer a graduate. Signed EA Beymer. Bruce was his son.

Roughly 14 and 1/8 by 9 and 7/8 inches tall. See can for scale.

Condition: Nice condition. Good colors. All original. No touch ups or repairs. Has some paint loss to the left of the tower. Otherwise no damage. See photos and video to determine condition.
