Antique Ovoid Jug Circa 1840 Applied Grapes Folk Art Circa 1900 New York State

Up for sale is a neat little ovoid jug. It was found in New York State. The jug looks to probably date to the 1825-1845 range. Nice form. Looks to be covered in Albany slip. Then at some point someone covered the jug with an applied decoration and some molded grapes. Looks like micah flakes too. I would think the grapes were added around 1900-1920. They look to have significant age.
7 inches tall. See soda can for scale.
Condition:Â Nice condition. Can’t see any cracks in the jug. Possibly had some lip roughness that was covered in the applied decoration but its hard to tell. Could be some minor chips or just uneveness in the application. There is some loss to the folk art covering. You can see some of the brown jug peeking through the decoration. Mostly in the handle and around the lip of the jug. Displays well and still in really nice condition.
