Antique Fret Work Box with Early Automobile Car Model T 1920-Folk Art

For sale is an interesting fret work box with an antique car. Looks like a circa 1920 car or so. Box dates to the same time period. Nice surface. Not many good folk art car related items out there. I really like this. Has a velvet lid under the carved wood. Perfect if your name is Monty or Scott, but really perfect either way. Also says Stengel in the upper left corner. Looks to be signed by the maker (G.G.) in two spots, although that could also just be decoration. Stengel could be the maker. I assume Monty Scott was the name of the owner of the box.

Someone was likely very proud of their car. Not sure if a model T or what. Neat piece of automobile history. Found in Vermont.

8 and half inches across, 5 and 1/4 deep and 1 and 7/8 inches tall.

Condition: Good surface. All original. No repairs. Two minor breaks with losses on the back. Some crackling to the wood. Displays really well
