Antique Folk Art Pair Bust Cast Iron Legs 1920s Outsider Art

$0.00

I just picked up this wonderful pair of folk art men. They are painted on cast iron bathtub feet. The feet are from the 1800s most likely but I guess the men to be painted around the 1920s or 30s. I love their ties and mutton chop sideburns. I’ve seen some painted bathtub feet before but never a matched pair with this amount of age to the paint and great look. Looks at those lips and eyes. They are nice pieces of folk art.

Just over 6 and half inches tall. See can for scale.

I got these from a Lancaster Pa antiques dealer but I’m not sure where he found them.
Condition: Nice condition. Some rusting, paint scratches and wear but nothing too distracting. Have a nice old surface. Display well. All original. No touchups to the paint. No repairs.
